It is a method of teaching…to establish the basic foundations or building blocks in order for children to make sense of the environment around them.

Die Bron Primary School: Visit 1

Presentation was well organized and clear. The lecturer explained extensively about the content of the course. The programme should be implemented by all Foundation Phase teachers and be recognized by government. The BCP is CAPS aligned.

‘BCP is foundational to a child's learning. It is the building blocks on which all other concepts are built. A concept needs to be fully understood by a child before a new concept can be taught.
