Visit 1: Initial Set-Up Training For The Project

The visit aims to initiate the school's teachers and volunteers to the project.

They will all receive the first two days of the BCP training.

Thereafter, both teachers and volunteers will start to practise the first two conceptual domains (colour and shape) until the end of the year.

A follow up support visit will be offered before the end of the year.

Practical demonstration of mediation. Louis is an excellent mediator and it really helped to see it demonstrated. Loved the dedication, enthusiasm and firm belief in worth of BC approach to learning. The Basic Concepts Programme is basically the same as Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development. It is a way of teaching… it gives individuals a way to structure their thinking and reasoning.
