Teacher comments

  • I have learnt a lot and now have a better understanding of how to teach learners. It has changed my perspective on teaching... I will try my utmost to implement what I have learnt here in the classroom.
  • Thanks for the enthusiastic presentation and interactive approach.
  • I have learned how to improve the learning of young learners.
  • Very impressive and so much to know about BCs.
  • Thank You for Everything. You are making a difference!!
  • Dok you are the best trainer I have ever experienced.

I love the programme. I was not aware of how to introduce a concept … . If I could reverse my years in teaching, I bet I would have produced mathematicians, scientists and doctors.

Metro Central Teacher Comment (July, 2013)

'Definitely exceeded my expectations. I see that the BCP can have far reaching consequences if implemented optimally. We were told the how and why of implementation rather than the what.' (Metro Central, 2012)

Central Training 2012

Very well put together course: well researched, well prepared, well delivered.  A course that can be trusted to yield results when applied in practice, and therefore a much needed and valuable tool to implement with learners who are in danger of failing to learn adequately.

Open Public Training, 2015 (Cape Town)

The BCP is the best place to start for learners with limited vocabulary and for closing the vocabulary gap.

Christel House Training, July 2014

The course was very helpful to me as a teacher, excellent and exciting, because it opened my mind … how to integrate basic concept in all learning areas. It also showed that children should not be limited and their understanding should be developed step-by-step.

Schools Improvement Initiative, UCT (June 2013)
INTSHAYELELO PRIMARY

My concern about my learners’ language barriers and how to overcome these barriers has been solved for me.
