Metro North Project Update!

We’re proud to share progress from our partnership with the Durbanville Schools Foundation and Metro North.

In Trevor Manuel Primary, Alpha Primary, Attie van Wyk Primary, and Philadelphia Primary, teachers are seeing learners develop stronger vocabulary, use fuller sentences, and grow in confidence.

Even partial use of the Basic Concepts Programme (BCP) is making a big difference — from recognising colours, shapes, numbers, and sounds, to starting to write their names.

By the end of 2025, these teachers will be Certified Mediators of the BCP, helping to ensure sustainable, long-term change.
