Training and Mentoring Programme

The teachers in Frances Baard District have been divided into six clusters of about 10 teachers per cluster.

Each of the three officials involved with the project are responsible for two clusters.

The teachers will attend two days of training per conceptual domain over the course of the year.

The teachers are required to apply what they have learnt during training inside their classes and share best practice on a dedicated social media site.

I am really glad I made an effort to attend: Fantastic, enlightening, empowering.

I now have a broader knowledge of how to teach various concepts and reach all intelligences and learning styles.

Presentation was well organized and clear. The lecturer explained extensively about the content of the course. The programme should be implemented by all Foundation Phase teachers and be recognized by government. The BCP is CAPS aligned.
